Me and my future job: Clinical Pharmacist

Hello again everyone, this week's blog is about my dream job: clinical pharmacist, what is that?, well, a clinical pharmacist is part of the clinical group that interacts in different ways with the patients, in my case i would be responsable of the pharmacological treatment of the patient, i must be able to make and understand the pharmacological history and also i would have to develop some clinical skills like taking decisions about the patients, pharmacological treatment and many other things in orden to make a treatment safe, affective and not so expensive. 

This job is an indoor one, a clinical pharmacist is always in the clinic watching patients and working with the medical team, and that's exactly what i want for my life, i'm not interested in having a job that involves a lot of travel. What i want to do is travel sometimes to other countrys to participate in seminars about my area and learn more about it.  (i like traveling when it is for vacations, i don't want it to be part of my job).

I'm not sure about how much is the salary of a clinical pharmacist, i know that the average salary of a regular pharmaceutical chemist is 1'400.000 CLP, and it variates depending on the area and the major. Clinical pharmacist have a major in clinical pharmacy and attention so the salary must be around 2'000.000 CLP

The major i'm going to study in order to be qualified for this job is a postgraduate to get the degree of specialist in clinical pharmacy and pharmacy attention,  the UChile have this course so i'm probably taking it on here when the time comes...
