Me and my future post graduate studies  Hello everyone :) this is me again and this week's blog is about the post graduate studies that i consider taking in the future ( you know, when i finish my undergraduate), i think there's something important about me before i answer the question: i LOVE to study and i love learning, even as i child i genuinely enjoyed it, my mom didn't let me go out to play with another children because our neighborhood in Colombia was kind of dangerous, an i'm an only child so i was very lonely, but i found the company in studying, it was the beginning of an everlasting love.  Well, now that we know that, of course that i want to take post graduate studies, i want to be in many courses about many things, i'm sure that, in a way or another, i'm never gonna stop studying.  There's one major that i'm particular interested in: the major to be specialist in clinical pharmacy and pharmacy attention, i want to take it because OMG just r...

Me and my future job: Clinical Pharmacist Hello again everyone, this week's blog is about my dream job: clinical pharmacist, what is that?, well, a clinical pharmacist is part of the clinical group that interacts in different ways with the patients, in my case i would be responsable of the pharmacological treatment of the patient, i must be able to make and understand the pharmacological history and also i would have to develop some clinical skills like taking decisions about the patients, pharmacological treatment and many other things in orden to make a treatment safe, affective and not so expensive.  This job is an indoor one, a clinical pharmacist is always in the clinic watching patients and working with the medical team, and that's exactly what i want for my life, i'm not interested in having a job that involves a lot of travel. What i want to do is travel sometimes to other countrys to participate in seminars about my area and learn more about it.  (i like traveli...

Me and my career Hello again everyone :) this week's blog is about my story choosing a career and a little about the exciting and cruel world of the career of Chemistry and Pharmacy (C&F).  Let's start for the beginning, In 2018 i was in Fourth senior, my last year in high school,  and every single day i started wondering about what was going to be of my life the next year, what would happen when the school was over... I was a 17 years old girl full of illusions but also fears.  I was in the Chemistry elective and it was great, my teacher was (and is) amazing, she made develop a big love for chemistry and helped me a little bit by showing me the world of science.  I was in love with Chemistry.. but i didn't want to study the career of Chemistry (not that i think it is a bad career, please don't feel offended if you study it, that's not my intention, it just wasn't for me), i wanted something different but at that moment i had no idea what it was. Whatever, a...

Me and the movies  Hello again everyone, this week's blog is going to be hard for me since I REALLY enjoy movies, when I have the time (clearly not now) I spend it watching many movies (classics, new releases, animated ones and others). As long as i can find the movie in Netflix, Amazon Prime or in ilegal pages on internet i´m going to watch it, I have a long list of movies that i MUST watch (in first place is Submarine and the last one i watched is Midsommar)                                            I'm not into a  gender in specific, i like almost everything. It is kind of hard for me to choose a favorite movie, but in my top i have: Léon (1994), Howl no Ugoku Shiro (2004) (i really like Studio Ghibli's movies), the godfather trilogy and, due to this year i developed a taste for musicals, Grease, The Rocky horror picture show and La la land.    In t...

The best holidays I've had I haven't travel a lot in my life (but believe me that i want to), but the travel that i've make were always great. Anyway, i must accept that there is one that is definitely the best: my school trip to Brasil.  Let's start for the beginning, in the high school where I studied when a course ends the third year (Third Senior), in december, they go to their School trip, the most typical destiny is Brasil and it was our choice. All of this hapenned to me in 2017, we, the Third Senior B, ended our year and went to Brasil, on there we toured many cities of the state of Santa Catarina (located at the south of Brasil), like Florianópolis, Porto Belo and Camboriú (here was the hotel where we were staying).    The holidays lasted only one week but was such and experience, we did a lot of activities: we went to a Foam Party (and danced all night long), of course we spend a lot of time at the beach in Camboriú, actually the men of the course became f...

Blog 1: a country I would like to visit Travelling to a new city or country is always an amazing experience, i have the hope that, in a couple years, i can travel to many places, i want to go backpacking to the south of Chile, and then across Latin america (but those are dangerous dreams, specially for  women...) . When i think about a country that i would like to go in a plane and as a "normal" tourist it is Mexico, to be more specific, I would like to go to Mexico to celebrate the Day of the Dead (October - November) The first reason I choose Mexico is, as i said, the Day of the Dead, i like the way they celebrate those days: the decoration with flowers and paper, the Catrinas, the food;  and i believe that the meaning of the celebration is so beautiful: those are the days when this world and the next are connected, so it´s time to demonstrate love and respect for the deceased family members. I think it is so comforting to know there´s a day where you can be again with...

Autobiography  My name is Daniela Suárez García, I was born on January 11, 2001, in a little town  called Santa Rosa de Cabal ( in Colombia) . My parents are Angela García and Daniel Suárez. I don´t have a close relationship with my dad, the ones that raised me were my mom, my maternal grandmother and my aunt.   I lived in Santa Rosa in my childhood, and in vacations i used to visit my paternal family at the family farm (i didn´t saw my dad much there, i was with the other relatives) . Everything was pretty normal and happy in my life, as an only child i must accept that i grew up being spoiled. When i was 8 years old my mom emigrated to Chile, a few years later my aunt did it as well, so the one who were always with me and really raised me was my grandmother (she´s  more like my mother to me, she´s an incredible woman and i love her). Finally, in 2015,  my grandma and me emigrated so the family was complete again :), I was 14 by that time, and it was such...
